Students in Dhahran have raised 5,350 USD to support HFH Jordan.

Our long-standing partner American School of Dhahran, despite not being able to take part in the usual Global Village volunteer trips, have raised funds to support the work of Habitat Jordan. They are passionate about Jordan because many of them have a personal connection and feel the responsibility to help in the region, which has been under constant pressure, due to conflict and resource restraints.
During a virtual dedication ceremony HFH Jordan representatives gave further background on the substantial challenges (2 million Palestinian refugees over last decades, recently 1 million Iraqis and 1.4 million Syrian refugees) on the backdrop of water scarcity and significant housing deficit.
