Habitat for Humanity International

Habitat for Humanity is a global non-profit housing organization founded in 1976 in the USA for the aim of empowering people in the world’s poorest communities.  Habitat for Humanity has become a global leader in the housing sector addressing substandard housing and helping people whether they are adults or children regardless of their race, faith or background to have a simple, decent place to live in dignity.

Habitat for Humanity has already helped almost 9.8 million people all around the world to have a simple, decent and affordable place to live. Habitat for Humanity has more than 1,500 affiliates in North America alone and has worked with communities alongside volunteers in more than 70 countries around the world. It has a long impressive history of four decades of supporting needy families in building homes and working with several national partners and organizations in different parts of the world.
