Global Village Program – Habitat for Humanity Jordan

Local Volunteer Program – Habitat for Humanity Jordan
Habitat for Humanity Jordan engages more than twenty teams of local volunteers each year through its Local Volunteer (LV) Program. This initiative mobilizes individuals from diverse backgrounds — including university students, local community members, and school children — to support shelter projects across the country.
Volunteers contribute their time and energy to assist with construction, rehabilitation, and community improvement efforts, fostering a spirit of solidarity and civic responsibility. By participating in hands-on activities, they help promote safe, decent housing while gaining valuable experience in teamwork, leadership, and community service.
The LV Program not only strengthens local ownership of Habitat’s mission but also plays a vital role in building stronger, more resilient communities throughout Jordan.
